ABIWAYS TABLET is a combination of Acebrophylline and N-Acetylcysteine which belongs to the group of medicines called Bronchodilators and Mucolytics respectively. It is used in the management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It can also be used to manage inflammation of the airways (such as bronchitis or cystic fibrosis) and reduce the onset of other complications caused due to mucus obstruction in the airways such as bronchospasm (paralysis of airways) and wheezing or shortness of breath.

Take ABIWAYS TABLET preferably with meals or as advised by your physician. Before taking ABIWAYS TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have fits, stomach ulcers, viral infections, hypertension or hyperthyroidism as a precaution.

ABIWAYS TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and in breastfeeding women. The most common side effects of taking ABIWAYS TABLET are epigastric pain, stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, diarrhea and constipation. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects trouble you.

Directions of Use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Abiways Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Side effects

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them
