ABROPHYLL DM TABLET contains Acebrophylline, desloratadine and montelukast that help in improving breathing difficulties associated with various conditions like asthma, hay fever and allergic rhinitis. These conditions trigger an allergic reaction like narrowing of the airway passages like bronchi which in turn leads to difficulty in breathing and chest pain.
ABROPHYLL DM TABLET relaxes the airways, thereby removing the obstruction in the respiratory system and facilitating easy breathing. It also relieves various skin reactions such as itch and rash.
ABROPHYLL DM TABLET is not recommended in patients suffering from various kidney disorders, liver disorders, and heart disorders like an irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia) and chest pain due to an insufficient supply of blood to the heart muscles (myocardial infarction).
ABROPHYLL DM TABLET is not recommended for use by children below the age of 15 years. It is recommended to consult a doctor before taking it, as only he can decide the required dosage of ABROPHYLL DM TABLET based on body mass, age, and the condition of the infection. The most common side effects reported with the use of ABROPHYLL DM TABLET are diarrhoea, nausea, and vomiting. Consult your doctor if any of your symptoms get worse.
Uses:
- Manage breathlessness and wheezing caused due to an obstruction in the lungs (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)
- Manage breathlessness and chest pain occurring due to the narrowing of the tubes called bronchi (bronchial asthma)
- Manage inflammation of bronchi (bronchitis)
- Manage the inflammation of the nasal passages characterized by sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy palate and eyes, in adults and adolescents of 12 years of age and older due to allergy (Allergic Rhinitis) ( Ex. Hay fever or allergy to dust mites)
- Relieve the dry, itchy skin associated with Hives/ Urticaria
- Prevent exercise-related breathlessness due to the narrowing of airways
