It is used to manage cancers such as:
Alkacel 5 mg Tablet contains Melphalan, an anticancer medication used to treat multiple myeloma (a type of bone marrow cancer) and ovarian cancer.
Uses:
- Multiple Myeloma: A cancer affecting plasma cells in the bone marrow.
- Ovarian Cancer: Cancer originating in the ovaries.
Dosage and Administration:
- Dosage: As prescribed by your oncologist, based on your medical condition and response to treatment.
- Administration: Take orally with a full glass of water; do not crush or chew the tablet.
- Timing: Preferably taken on an empty stomach.
Side Effects:
