AMDEPIN AT TABLET is used to manage hypertension and angina pectoris (chest pain caused due to lack of oxygen supply to the heart). It can also be used to reduce the risk of heart attack (myocardial infarction) among heart patients.

It contains a combination of Amlodipine and Atenolol which belongs to the group of medicine called Antihypertensive agents.

Take AMDEPIN AT TABLET as advised by your physician. Avoid drinking grapefruit juice while taking AMDEPIN AT TABLET, as it could further decrease your blood pressure and may make you feel dizzier, drowsier or faint.

Before taking AMDEPIN AT TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have asthma, diabetes, overactive thyroid gland or low blood volume as a precaution.

AMDEPIN AT TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with other severe heart problems apart from hypertension and angina (such as heart failure). It is also not suitable for use in patients with severe hypotension (low blood pressure).
