Angispan TR 6.5mg Capsule contains Nitroglycerin (also known as glyceryl trinitrate), a vasodilator medicine. It is primarily used to prevent and manage chest pain associated with angina pectoris. Angina pectoris is a type of chest pain that occurs when the heart muscle doesn't get enough oxygen-rich blood. This pain can feel like a sudden, severe pressure or squeezing in the chest, often radiating to the left arm or shoulder.

The active ingredient, Nitroglycerin / Glyceryl Trinitrate 6.5mg, works by relaxing the blood vessels around your heart. This helps to reduce the strain on the heart, making it easier to pump blood and increasing blood flow to the heart muscle, thereby relieving and preventing angina chest pain. To support the effectiveness of Angispan TR 6.5mg Capsule, your doctor may also recommend important lifestyle changes, such as quitting smoking and alcohol, adopting a healthy diet, improving sleep, and managing your weight.

Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose of Angispan TR 6.5mg Capsule based on your specific condition. Common side effects may include headache, dizziness, and a rapid or irregular heartbeat. It's crucial to inform your doctor before taking this medicine if you have severe anemia, increased pressure inside your skull (intracranial pressure), bleeding in the brain (cerebral haemorrhage), diabetes, or glaucoma (high pressure in the eye). If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor for advice before using Angispan TR 6.5mg Capsule. This medicine is generally not recommended for use in children.
