Apixamore 5 mg Tablet

Composition:

• Apixaban 5 mg

Uses:

• Prevents stroke in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation

• Treats and prevents deep vein thrombosis (DVT)

• Treats and prevents pulmonary embolism (PE)

• Used after hip or knee replacement surgery to prevent blood clots

How to Use:

• Usually taken twice a day

• Can be taken with or without food

• Swallow whole with water

• Do not skip or double the dose

Side Effects:

• Bleeding from nose, gums, or urine

• Easy bruising

• Tiredness or weakness

• Nausea

• Rash or allergic reactions (rare)

Warnings:

• Do not stop taking without doctor’s advice

• Use with caution if you have kidney or liver problems

• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed

• Inform your doctor before surgery or dental procedures

Storage:

• Keep in a cool, dry place

• Store away from sunlight and moisture
