AQUIM EYE GEL contains Sodium Hyaluronate, which belongs to the group of medicines called Ophthalmic Viscoelastic Agents. It is used in the management of mild to severe dry eyes, post-operated dry eyes, and corneal burns.

Dry eye, which occurs when tears aren't able to provide adequate moisture, can affect one or both of the eyes. It occurs for various reasons, such as environmental conditions, aging, the use of contact lenses, and medications. Symptoms include dry, red, and inflamed, discomfort, and sensitivity to light.

Before using AQUIM EYE GEL, inform your doctor if you have narrow-angle glaucoma and if you wear contact lenses.

AQUIM EYE GEL may cause blurred vision for a short time after application, even at normal dosages and with proper use. This can subsequently impair your reaction while driving or operating machines; hence, caution should be exercised.

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, consult your doctor for advice before using AQUIM EYE GEL.

The most common side effects of using AQUIM EYE GEL are blurred vision, swelling of the eyelids, eye redness, discomfort, and irritation. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.

Uses:

  1. mild-to-severe dry eyes
  2. post-operative dry eyes
  3. corneal burns

Directions of Use

Use AQUIM EYE GEL as advised by your physician. It is for ophthalmic use only. Wash your hands before and after using this medicine. To apply the medicine, tilt your head back and look up. Gently pull down the lower lid to form a sac. Instill AQUIM EYE GEL and close your eyes for 1-2 minutes, and then blink to spread the medicine across the surface of the eye. Do not touch the tip of the nozzle to any surface, as this may contaminate the gel. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of AQUIM EYE GEL for you depending upon your age and severity of the condition.
