ASCORIL SF EXPECTORANT is a combination of Ambroxol, Guaiphenesin, and Terbutaline, which belong to the group of medicines called Mucolytics, Expectorant, and Beta agonists, respectively. Ambroxol thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to cough out. Guaiphenesin is an expectorant that decreases the stickiness of mucus and helps in its removal from the airways. The common side effects of ASCORIL SF EXPECTORANT are tremor (shaky hands), headache, tachycardia (heat beats faster), palpitations (feeling aware of your heartbeat), muscle spasms, and hypokalaemia (low plasma potassium levels).
