Asprito 5mg Tablet contains `Aripiprazole 5mg`, which belongs to a class of medicines known as anti-psychotic drugs. This medicine is prescribed for managing `schizophrenia`, particularly in adolescent patients aged 13-17 years. `Schizophrenia` is a mental health condition that affects a person's ability to think, feel, and behave clearly, often characterized by hallucinations (seeing or hearing things that aren't there) and disorganized thoughts or behaviors.

Asprito 5mg Tablet can also be used alone or as an add-on treatment for managing `mania` (a state of unusually elevated mood or hyperactivity) in children aged 10 years or older. It is also effective in managing `Tourette's Disorder` (a tic disorder) or irritability associated with `Autistic Disorder` in children aged 6-18 years. Additionally, Asprito 5mg Tablet may be used as an adjunctive therapy to treat `depression` (major depressive disorder) in adult patients.

Always take Asprito 5mg Tablet exactly as directed by your physician. Do not miss any doses or stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor. While undergoing treatment with Asprito 5mg Tablet, it is advisable to avoid excessive physical activity and prolonged exposure to hot climates. Ensure you drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration.

Before starting Asprito 5mg Tablet, inform your doctor if you have a history of `diabetes`, `heart problems`, `seizures (fits)`, or `blood clots`. This medicine is generally not recommended for use in elderly patients suffering from `dementia-related psychosis`, a condition affecting memory, thinking, and social abilities, as it may increase risks.

It is important to avoid alcohol consumption while taking Asprito 5mg Tablet, as it can intensify feelings of dizziness or drowsiness. If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking Asprito 5mg Tablet.

Asprito 5mg Tablet may influence your `blood sugar` or `cholesterol levels`. Your doctor will likely monitor these levels periodically as a precautionary measure during your treatment.

Patients taking Asprito 5mg Tablet should promptly inform their doctor if they experience any unusual `mood changes`, `increased sex drive`, `excessive gambling urges`, `suicidal thoughts`, or a worsening of `depression`.

The most common side effects associated with Asprito 5mg Tablet include increased saliva production, involuntary muscle movements, dizziness, sleepiness, or headache. If any of these side effects become bothersome, please consult your doctor.
