Atrodex-C Eye Drops (5ml) is an ophthalmic medication used to treat eye infections and inflammation.

Active Ingredients

• Atropine Sulfate œ A mydriatic (pupil-dilating) and cycloplegic agent that relaxes the eye muscles.
• Chloramphenicol œ A broad-spectrum antibiotic that treats bacterial eye infections.

Uses

• Bacterial Conjunctivitis œ Treats eye infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
• Uveitis/Iritis œ Reduces pain and inflammation by relaxing eye muscles.
• Post-Eye Surgery œ Prevents infection and reduces discomfort.

Dosage & Administration

• Usually 1œ2 drops in the affected eye(s) every 6œ8 hours or as directed by a doctor.
• Wash hands before use.
• Avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination.

Side Effects

• Temporary blurred vision
• Eye irritation, burning, or redness
• Increased light sensitivity (photophobia)
• Allergic reactions (rare but serious)

Precautions

• Do not use with contact lenses (remove them before application and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting).
• Not suitable for viral or fungal eye infections.
• Use with caution in glaucoma patients due to the pupil-dilating effect.
• Avoid driving or operating machinery after use due to temporary vision disturbances.
