Benzac AC 2.5 Gel is an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory gel, which is used for the management of mild acne on the face, chest or back in adults and adolescents 12 years and over. It contains Benzoyl Peroxide as an active ingredient which kills the acne causing bacteria.

Benzoyl Peroxide gets converted into benzoic acid which releases active free-radical oxygen. These free radicals interfere with important bacterial function and survival, hence killing them. It also increases the turnover rate of skin cells which helps in managing acne.

Always apply Benzac AC 2.5 Gel as advised by your physician. It is external use only. Wash the affected area with a mild cleanser pat your skin dry. Apply a thin layer over the affected area once or twice daily. If you have sensitive skin, apply once at night. Consult your doctor if you experience any allergic reactions while taking it.
