Biocoltis Tablet is a nutritional supplement that is used to manage calcium deficiency states like hypercalcaemic seizures, rickets, chronic illness, fractures and bone healing, to increase BMD (bone mineral density) and in post-menopausal osteoporosis.

Biocoltis Tablet contains calcium citrate, Cissus quadrangularis, vitamin D3, vitamin K2-7, Moringa oleifera, pyridoxine and L-methylfolate as active ingredients that help meet the nutritional requirements of the body.

Calcium citrate reduces calcium flux from osteocyte activity by increasing plasma calcium levels. This increases the amount of calcium deposited in bone resulting in an increase in bone mineral density. Cissus quadrangularis contains vitamins and steroids that influence the rate of fracture healing by early generation of all connective tissue.

Vitamin K2-7 acts as a cofactor in conversion of undercarboxylated osteocalcin (ucOC) to carboxylated osteocalcin (cOC). cOC facilitates the transport of calcium to bone for bone formation. Moringa contains calcium and phosphorus that show anti-inflammatory action and helps to heal damaged bones.

Vitamin B6 may act as a regulator of steroid hormones like estrogen, that plays a substantial role in bone turnover, thus it exerts a protective effect on hip fracture risk. L-methylfolate is essential for bone marrow and other tissues. Vitamin D3 helps increase the intestinal absorption of calcium.
