Caldikind Sachet 1g contains Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3), a vital nutrient belonging to the group of medicines known as Vitamin D analogues. It is primarily used to address and manage Vitamin D deficiency, which can arise when your diet or lifestyle does not provide sufficient vitamin D, or when your body's needs increase, such as during pregnancy.

Alongside taking Caldikind Sachet 1g, your doctor may recommend incorporating calcium-rich foods and beverages into your diet. Prior to starting treatment, your doctor might also conduct certain blood tests to properly assess your current condition.

Caldikind Sachet 1g is not recommended if you have high levels of calcium in your blood (hypercalcaemia), a malabsorption syndrome, excessive vitamin D (hypervitaminosis D), or renal osteodystrophy (a kidney disease that weakens bones) accompanied by high phosphate levels in the blood (hyperphosphataemia).

Before you begin taking Caldikind Sachet 1g, it is important to inform your doctor if you have impaired kidney or liver function, are immobilized due to osteoporosis, suffer from sarcoidosis (a chronic inflammatory condition affecting various organs), or have hyperlipidemia (high lipid levels).

Caldikind Sachet 1g should be used with caution in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Exercise similar caution when administering it to children and elderly patients. If you experience any unusual effects during your treatment with this medicine, consult your doctor immediately.
