CANDIDOX CREAM contains Ciclopirox which belongs to the group of medicines called Antifungals. It is indicated for the topical management of fungal skin infections like tinea pedis (infection of the feet causing itchy, scaly rash), tinea cruris (fungal infection involving genital areas, inner thigh and characterised by red, itchy, ring-shaped rashes) and tinea corporis (fungal infection of the trunk, arms and legs).

It is also used to manage candidiasis or moniliasis (fungal infection of the skin, mouth, throat, gut and vagina), tinea (pityriasis) versicolor (a fungal infection causing lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest, arms or legs).

CANDIDOX CREAM should be used during pregnancy only if it is considered clearly necessary. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.

CANDIDOX CREAM should be used with caution in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.

The most common side effects of using CANDIDOX CREAM are itchiness, mild burning sensation or redness. Contact your doctor if any of the above symptoms worsen.
