CAZIQ BUCCAL Paste provides relief from mouth ulcers (canker sores or oral sores) and other forms of oral inflammation and ulcerative lesions. It contains triamcinolone as an active ingredient which is a corticosteroid medicine with anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties. It works by blocking the release of certain chemicals within the body that triggers ulcer formation.

Gently apply a small amount of CAZIQ BUCCAL Paste on the affected area of your mouth using a clean finger. Do not rub the paste in the oral cavity. CAZIQ BUCCAL Paste is for oral topical use only. Do not apply in your skin, eyes or any other body cavities.

Apply CAZIQ BUCCAL Paste to the affected areas after meals or at bedtime. Do not eat or drink immediately after applying CAZIQ BUCCAL Paste. If there is no improvement in your condition even after using this medicine for more than 2 weeks, consult your doctor for advice.

CAZIQ BUCCAL Paste is not recommended for use in patients with fungal, viral, or bacterial infections of the mouth or throat, viral infections (such as chickenpox, cold sores, shingles), tuberculosis, diabetes or stomach ulcer. It is unknown whether oral application of triamcinolone leads to sufficient systemic absorption during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Therefore, caution is advised when prescribing CAZIQ BUCCAL Paste to pregnant and nursing women.

The most common side effects of taking CAZIQ BUCCAL Paste are oral irritation, burning sensation, itching or redness after application. Such side effects can be noted only in few individuals, not everyone. Consult your doctor if they trouble you.
