Cefydoc-AX 500 CV Tablet is a combination antibiotic medicine containing Cefuroxime 500 mg and Clavulanic Acid 125 mg. It is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections by stopping the growth of harmful bacteria. Cefuroxime is a cephalosporin antibiotic that kills bacteria, while Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that prevents the bacteria from becoming resistant to the antibiotic.

Uses

It is commonly used to treat:

• Respiratory tract infections (such as bronchitis, pneumonia, tonsillitis)

• Sinus infections

• Ear infections (otitis media)

• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Dental infections

How It Works

• Cefuroxime kills bacteria by preventing the formation of their protective cell wall.

Dosage & Directions

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
