Cital Syrup is a urinary alkalizer which is used in the management of gout (joint pain) and certain types of kidney stones (hard deposits which is formed inside the kidneys). It can also be used to inhibit the occurrence of metabolic acidosis (accumulation of acid in the body due to kidney disease) caused by kidney disease. It contains disodium hydrogen citrate as an active ingredient to make the urine less acidic and helps the kidneys to get rid of uric acid which are responsible for the episodes of gout and kidney stone formation.

Disodium hydrogen citrate is a urinary alkalizer which works by reducing the acidic urine and promotes mild diuresis. Thus, it controls the episodes of gout and formation of kidney stones.      

Always take Cital Syrup as advised by the doctor. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Do not take Cital Syrup if you are allergic to its active ingredient. Inform your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines including prescription, over the counter medications, as well as vitamin or herbal supplements.
