This medicine is primarily used for the temporary relief of minor gastric upsets. It also supports certain urinary conditions, such as dissolving uric acid kidney stones and managing elevated uric acid levels in the blood, which can contribute to kidney stone formation. Additionally, it can be used in conjunction with certain antibiotics where an alkaline urine environment enhances the antibiotic's effectiveness, and to help manage discomfort from urinary tract infections (UTIs) characterized by painful or difficult urination.

While using Citrosoda Powder 4g, especially if you have kidney conditions, your doctor may monitor your clinical condition and perform laboratory tests like serum electrolytes and acid-base balance. It is not recommended if you have severe kidney failure or high sodium levels in your blood (hypernatremia), or if you are on hexamine mandelate or hexamine hippurate therapy for urinary infections, which requires acidic urine.

Use Citrosoda Powder 4g with caution if you have high blood pressure, heart failure, reduced kidney function, swelling in your legs (peripheral oedema), pulmonary oedema, or high blood pressure during pregnancy (pre-eclampsia).
