Composition:

  • Dicyclomine Hydrochloride (10 mg/5 ml): An antispasmodic agent that relaxes the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract, alleviating cramps and spasms.
  • Simethicone (40 mg/5 ml): An antiflatulent that helps reduce gas buildup in the gut, relieving bloating and discomfort.

Uses:

Colimex Suspension is primarily used to relieve gastrointestinal discomfort in infants and children, including:

  • Infantile Colic: Persistent crying in infants due to abdominal pain.
  • Gastrointestinal Spasms: Muscle cramps in the stomach and intestines.
  • Flatulence: Excessive gas leading to bloating and discomfort.
  • Abdominal Pain: General stomach aches associated with gas or muscle spasms.

Dosage & Administration:

  • Infants (6 months and older): As prescribed by a pediatrician.
  • Children: Dosage should be determined by a healthcare provider based on the child's age and weight.
  • Administration: Shake the bottle well before use. Measure the prescribed dose using a proper measuring device. Administer orally, preferably after meals.
