COSVATE g CREAM is a combination of Clobetasol propionate, Miconazole nitrate, and Gentamicin which belong to the groups of medicines called Topical Corticosteroids, Antifungals, and Aminoglycoside antibiotics, respectively. COSVATE g CREAM is used to manage inflammation, redness, and itching caused by skin conditions such as eczema, allergic reactions, dermatitis, rashes, and psoriasis.
It is also used to manage several autoimmune diseases, including vitiligo, alopecia areata, lichen planus, and lichen sclerosis. Inflammation is a process by which our body's white blood cells protect us from infection from outside invaders such as bacteria and viruses. It is characterised by symptoms such as redness, swelling, heat, and pain.
Itching is an uncomfortable, irritating sensation that creates an urge to scratch the involved site, which can involve any part of the body. Autoimmune disease is a condition that occurs when the body's immune system attacks the body's healthy cells. It is generally characterised by symptoms such as weakness, joint pain, swelling, and skin problems.
COSVATE g CREAM is not recommended for use in patients with skin problems such as acne, rosacea (severe flushing of the skin on and around your nose), perioral dermatitis (spotty red rash around your mouth), itching around the anus and genitals, infected or itchy skin, and widespread plaque psoriasis.
Before applying COSVATE g CREAM, inform your doctor if you have had previous bone symptoms (such as bone pain), a previous allergic reaction with another steroid, broken or damaged skin, a chronic leg ulcer, or psoriasis. COSVATE g CREAM should be used with caution during pregnancy and in women who are breastfeeding.
COSVATE g CREAM is not recommended for use in children (below 1 year) and should be used with caution in children (over 1 year) and adolescents (below 18 years) after consulting the doctor. The most common side effects of using COSVATE g CREAM are burning, pain, irritation, and/or itching at the application site. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms get worse.

Directions of Use
Always apply COSVATE g CREAM, as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. On the affected area, apply a thin layer of this medicine. Managed areas on the face need not be covered with a plaster or bandage. Do not apply COSVATE g CREAM on your face beyond 5 days. Avoid applying COSVATE g CREAM around your eyes, including eyelids.
