Dabigo 75mg Tablet contains Dabigatran Etexilate 75mg, which belongs to a class of medicines known as anticoagulants. This medication is primarily used to help prevent the formation of harmful blood clots in various medical conditions. Dabigo 75mg Tablet is prescribed for adults to reduce the risk of stroke and systemic embolism in patients diagnosed with atrial fibrillation. It is also used to prevent venous thromboembolic events (blood clots) in patients who have recently undergone orthopaedic surgery.

Furthermore, Dabigo 75mg Tablet is effective in treating acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and/or pulmonary embolism (PE), and it helps in preventing these blood clots from recurring. For children and adolescents (from 8 to 18 years of age), Dabigo 75mg Tablet is used to manage existing blood clots and to help prevent new blood clots from forming.

Do not take Dabigo 75mg Tablet if you currently have active bleeding disorders, an organ disease that significantly increases the risk of serious bleeding (such as a stomach ulcer, or a history of injury or bleeding in the brain), or severely reduced kidney or liver function. Before starting Dabigo 75mg Tablet, it is important to inform your doctor if you have an increased risk of bleeding due to conditions like a bone fracture, a head injury, any injury requiring surgical management, or if you have existing lung or heart problems.

Dabigo 75mg Tablet is not recommended for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Always consult your doctor for personalized medical advice if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose of Dabigo 75mg Tablet based on the patient's age, body weight, and specific medical condition. The most common side effects reported with Dabigo 75mg Tablet include stomachache, indigestion, frequent loose stools, and nausea. If any of these side effects worsen or become bothersome, please consult your doctor.
