COMPOSITION
Each tablet contains:
Dapagliflozin 10 mg
Linagliptin 5 mg

THERAPEUTIC CATEGORY
Anti-diabetic medicine (Oral hypoglycemic agent)

INDICATIONS
Used for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in adults.
Helps control high blood sugar levels when diet and exercise alone are not sufficient.
May be used alone or in combination with other anti-diabetic medicines.

MECHANISM OF ACTION
Dapagliflozin:
Works by removing excess glucose from the body through urine by acting on the kidneys.

Linagliptin:
Increases insulin release in response to meals.
Reduces excess glucose production by decreasing glucagon levels.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor.
Usually taken once daily, with or without food.
Swallow whole with water.
Do not crush or chew.
Take at the same time each day for best results.

MISSED DOSE
Take the missed dose as soon as remembered.
Skip if it is almost time for the next dose.
Do not take a double dose.

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS
Nasopharyngitis
Headache
Cough
Increased urination
Hypoglycemia (when used with other anti-diabetic medicines)
Urinary tract infection

SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS (Seek immediate medical attention)
Severe abdominal pain (possible pancreatitis)
Signs of allergic reaction (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing)
Signs of low blood sugar (sweating, dizziness, confusion)
Severe urinary or genital infection

PRECAUTIONS
Inform the doctor if you have kidney, liver, or heart problems.
Maintain adequate hydration.
Monitor blood glucose regularly.
