Pentavitin is a plant derived extract that is similar to carbohydrate complexes found in the human skin. It provides excellent hydration and moisturization to the skin and creates a moisture reservoir that lasts for up to 72 hours.

Phospholipid based ceramide IIIB is a ceramide that is essential for the structure of the skin and maintains the water permeability barrier function of the skin. This results in increased and prolonged hydration of skin.
