DIGEPLEX T TABLET contains Pancreatin which belongs to the group of medicines called Gastrointestinal agents. DIGEPLEX T TABLET is used to manage exocrine pancreatic enzyme insufficiency (deficient pancreatic enzyme) in affected individuals.
It is also used to manage pancreatitis (swelling of pancreas), flatulence, cystic fibrosis (genetic disorder that affects lungs and digestive system), moderate indigestion in diabetes and irritable bowel syndrome (intestinal disorder). The medicine is also indicated for use as digestive aid, and in pancreas removal.
DIGEPLEX T TABLET is not recommended to use in patients allergic to pork, and/any other pig product. Before taking DIGEPLEX T TABLET, inform your doctor if you have kidney problems (such as renal impairment), and/or liver problems (such as hepatic impairment).
DIGEPLEX T TABLET should be used with caution during pregnancy and in women planning for pregnancy. It is safe to use in breastfeeding women.
The medicine should be used with caution in children & adolescents (aged below 18 years) and in elderly patients (aged above 65 years) after consulting the doctor.
The most common side effects of taking DIGEPLEX T TABLET are stomach pain, bloating, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and/or constipation. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsen.

- Manage exocrine pancreatic enzyme insufficiency
- Manage pancreatitis, flatulence, cystic fibrosis, moderate indigestion (in patients with diabetes and irritable bowel syndrome)
- Aids in digestion and pancreas removal
Directions of Use
Tablet:
Take DIGEPLEX T TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
Capsule, Minimicrospheres:
Take DIGEPLEX T TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water as a whole or open the capsule and mix the granules (without crushing) in acidic liquid (such as apple/orange/pineapple juice) or soft food (such as apple sauce/yoghurt). Do not crush/chew the medicine and avoid mixing the granules in non-acidic food/liquid (as it may cause irritation in your mouth/alter the effect of the medicine). Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
