DISTACLOR 187 MG STRAWBERRY FLAVOUR ORAL SUSPENSION contains Cefaclor which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to manage bacterial infections of the respiratory tract (Ex. tonsillitis, pharyngitis, and bronchitis), lung (pneumonia), and sinuses (sinusitis).

DISTACLOR 187 MG STRAWBERRY FLAVOUR ORAL SUSPENSION can also be used to manage infections of middle ear (otitis media), skin and soft tissue (Ex. muscle), urinary bladder (Ex. cystitis, pyelonephritis) and kidney. Symptoms of bacterial infections generally include fever, extreme tiredness, swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpits, groin or elsewhere, headache, nausea or vomiting.

Before taking DISTACLOR 187 MG STRAWBERRY FLAVOUR ORAL SUSPENSION, inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems, history of gastrointestinal disease (Ex. colitis), have diarrhoea while taking antibiotics, or if you had an allergic reaction to penicillins or other medicines in the past. Tell your doctor if you are due to have any blood or urine tests as DISTACLOR 187 MG STRAWBERRY FLAVOUR ORAL SUSPENSION may interfere with these tests.

DISTACLOR 187 MG STRAWBERRY FLAVOUR ORAL SUSPENSION should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women. DISTACLOR 187 MG STRAWBERRY FLAVOUR ORAL SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in children and should be used with caution in elderly patients so, consult your doctor before taking it.

The most common side effects of taking DISTACLOR 187 MG STRAWBERRY FLAVOUR ORAL SUSPENSION are diarrhoea, itching in genital area, moniliasis (fungal infection), vaginitis (vaginal inflammation with pain, discharge, and itchiness), etc. Consult your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen or does not improve.
