Dronis Tablet, containing Ethinyl Estradiol 0.02mg + Drospirenone 3mg, is an oral contraceptive primarily used by women of reproductive potential for effective contraception or to prevent pregnancy. It works by intentionally preventing conception through hormonal regulation, allowing for family planning.
This medication is not recommended if you are allergic to drospirenone or any other ingredients. Avoid use if you have severe liver dysfunction, liver tumours, severe renal insufficiency, or acute renal failure. Use Dronis Tablet with caution if you are scheduled for major surgery, or have a history of high blood pressure, venous thromboembolism (blood clots in the legs or arms), diabetes, or chloasma gravidarum (a skin condition marked by darkened patches).
Dronis Tablet is not suitable for use during pregnancy and should be used cautiously if you are breastfeeding. It is not recommended for girls before menarche (first menstruation) and should be used with caution in adolescents under 18 years of age. Common side effects may include acne, irregular uterine bleeding, headache, breast discomfort, mood-related libido changes, nausea, abdominal pain, and unusual vaginal bleeding. Consult your doctor if any side effects become bothersome or worsen.

Directions of Use

Side effects
When taking Dronis Tablet, some individuals may experience side effects. Common side effects can include acne, irregular uterine bleeding, headache, breast discomfort, changes in libido (mood-related), nausea, abdominal pain, and unusual vaginal bleeding. These are usually mild and may subside over time. However, if any of these symptoms persist or worsen, you should inform your doctor.
Stop taking Dronis Tablet and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following serious side effects:
- Signs of a blood clot, such as severe pain or swelling in one leg, sudden chest pain, shortness of breath, or sudden weakness/numbness on one side of the body.
- Severe headache or migraine that is worse than usual.
- Sudden problems with vision, speech, or balance.
- Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice).
- Severe stomach pain or signs of liver problems.
- Symptoms of a severe allergic reaction, such as swelling of the face, lips, mouth, tongue, or throat, or difficulty breathing.
