DUB 10MG TABLET contains Medroxyprogesterone which belongs to the group of medicines called Hormonal medicines. It is used in the management of heavy, painful periods, irregular periods or periods that are more frequent than normal and in absence of periods and also to manage mild to moderate endometriosis (a condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus (womb) grows outside the uterus, causing pain and bleeding).
DUB 10MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with liver problems, breast cancer, venous thrombosis or arterial thrombosis, porphyria, undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, heart attack or stroke.
DUB 10MG TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant women as it can affect the developing baby. If you think you are pregnant or planning to have baby or have a history of repeated miscarriage, breastfeeding inform your doctor before taking DUB 10MG TABLET.
DUB 10MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents. The most common side effects of taking DUB 10MG TABLET are headache, nausea, difficulty sleeping, tiredness and hair loss. Ask for your doctor's advice if any of these worsen or don't improve.
Uses:
- To manage or manage heavy, painful periods, irregular periods or periods that are more frequent than normal and in absence of periods
- Manage mild to moderate endometriosis
Directions of Use
Take DUB 10MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow DUB 10MG TABLET with a glass of water and do not chew or crush the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
