Dulcoflex Adult Suppository is a stimulant laxative, used to manage constipation and is also used to empty the bowel before surgery, X-rays, colonoscopy or other intestinal medical procedure. It contains bisacodyl as an active ingredient which helps to stimulate bowel movements.
Bisacodyl is a well-known laxative stimulant. It works by increasing bowel movement so you can pass the stools more easily, it relieves constipation. It also makes your stool softer.
Always use Dulcoflex Suppository as advised by the physician. It is for rectal use only. Do not use more than one per day and for more than 5 days without a doctor's prescription. Along with this medicine, drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses per day) and eat a fibre-rich diet as it may help to manage constipation. Follow regular physical exercise.

For children aged less than 10 years: Dulcoflex Adult Suppository should not be used. Instead, medicines with lower doses of bisacodyl like 5mg (Dulcoflex Child Suppository 5'S) can be used.
