Duonase F Nasal Spray is a combination medication used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny or blocked nose, and itching. It contains two active ingredients:

  • Fluticasone Propionate (50mcg): A corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the nasal passages.

  • Azelastine Hydrochloride (140mcg): An antihistamine that blocks the action of histamine, a substance responsible for allergic symptoms.

Usage Instructions:

  • Dosage: As prescribed by your healthcare provider.

  • Administration: Before using, gently blow your nose to clear the nostrils. Shake the bottle well, insert the nozzle into one nostril while closing the other, and spray the prescribed dose while inhaling gently. Repeat in the other nostril if directed. Avoid spraying into your eyes or mouth.

  • Frequency: Follow your doctor's instructions regarding the number of sprays per nostril and the frequency of use.

Common Side Effects:

  • Headache

  • Nosebleeds

  • Altered taste sensation

  • Nasal dryness or irritation

  • Sore throat

  • Cough

These side effects are usually mild and temporary. If they persist or worsen, consult your healthcare provider.

Precautions:

  • Allergies: Inform your doctor if you are allergic to fluticasone, azelastine, or any other ingredients of the spray.

  • Medical Conditions: Discuss your medical history, especially if you have had nasal ulcers, nasal surgery, eye problems (like glaucoma or cataracts), infections (such as tuberculosis), or a compromised immune system.

  • Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Consult your healthcare provider before using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Operating Machinery: This medication may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how it affects you.

Note: Use Duonase F Nasal Spray as directed by your healthcare provider. Do not exceed the recommended dosage or duration of use. Regular monitoring and follow-up with your doctor are advised to ensure the medication's effectiveness and to manage any potential side effects.
