Edsave Tablet contains Tadalafil 5mg, a medicine belonging to the class of Phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5) inhibitors. It works by relaxing blood vessels, which helps improve blood flow to the penis, aiding in the treatment of erectile dysfunction. It is also used to manage pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) by relaxing blood vessels in the lungs and to relieve urinary symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
While taking Edsave Tablet, it is important to avoid alcohol and grapefruit juice as they can increase the risk of unwanted side effects. Before starting Edsave Tablet, inform your doctor if you have any pre-existing liver, kidney, or heart conditions. You should also tell your doctor if you have any penile deformities or if you have undergone surgical removal of part or all of the prostate gland. Edsave Tablet is not recommended for individuals with severely low or high blood pressure, or those who have recently experienced a stroke. It is also generally not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women unless specifically advised by a physician.
Common side effects of Edsave Tablet may include flushing, headache, dizziness, blurred vision, and muscle pain. If any of these side effects become troublesome or persist, consult your doctor.
