ENAPRIL 10MG TABLET contains Enalapril, which belongs to the group of medicines called Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACE) Inhibitors. It is used to manage hypertension (high blood pressure) and heart failure. It also manages the onset of signs of symptoms of heart failure (such as difficulty breathing, swollen ankles and feet, or extreme tiredness even after a mild physical activity).

Before taking ENAPRIL 10MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney, or heart problems (other than hypertension and heart failure). You must also inform your doctor if you are on a low-salt diet, have diabetes, or are severely dehydrated due to any recent sickness (such as vomiting or diarrhea).

ENAPRIL 10MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe hypotension (low blood pressure) and in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding due to increased risk of side effects. Stop taking ENAPRIL 10MG TABLET and inform your doctor immediately if you become pregnant while undergoing therapy with ENAPRIL 10MG TABLET.

ENAPRIL 10MG TABLET may cause dizziness while standing up suddenly or while changing positions, especially during the initial days of the therapy. Therefore, do not drive or operate any heavy tools or machines as a precaution. Also, avoid consumption of alcohol, as it could aggravate your dizziness.

ENAPRIL 10MG TABLET may reduce your blood sugar levels and electrolyte levels. Therefore, your doctor will constantly monitor your blood sugar levels and electrolyte levels during the therapy to avoid the risk of unwanted side effects.

Other most common side effects of taking ENAPRIL 10MG TABLET are dizziness, headache, tiredness, and weakness. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects worsen.
