EPLEHEF 25MG contains Eplerenone, which belongs to the group of medicines called Selective Aldosterone blocking agents. It is used for the management of mild to moderate hypertension (condition in which the force of the blood against the artery walls is too high) and heart failure in adults. Heart failure is a chronic condition in which the heart doesn't pump blood properly to meet the body's demand.
EPLEHEF 25MG is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver disease, severe kidney disease, or high potassium levels in the blood etc. It should be used with caution in patients with other kidney or liver diseases etc. Consult your doctor before taking EPLEHEF 25MG. Before taking EPLEHEF 25MG inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant or breast-feeding women.
EPLEHEF 25MG is not recommended for use in children and growing adults. It should be used with caution in elderly patients. Consult your doctor before taking EPLEHEF 25MG. The most common side effects of taking EPLEHEF 25MG are nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, high potassium level, low blood pressure, fainting, dizziness, headache etc. Consult your doctor if any of the symptom worsens.

Directions of Use
Take EPLEHEF 25MG as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your physician will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
