Eradiclav DS Dry Syrup is an antibiotic medicine designed to effectively treat various bacterial infections affecting the ear, nose, throat, chest, lungs, teeth, skin, and urinary tract. This medicine, containing Amoxycillin 400mg/5ml and Clavulanic Acid 57mg/5ml, is particularly capable of combating bacteria that have developed resistance to other therapies, making it valuable in treating resistant tuberculosis.

You can administer Eradiclav DS Dry Syrup to your child with or without food. However, giving it with food is often recommended as it can enhance absorption and help minimize the risk of stomach upset. Your doctor will prescribe the appropriate dosage, typically two to three times a day, based on the infection's severity, type, and your child's body weight and age. Always adhere strictly to the prescribed dose, timing, and method. If your child vomits the medicine within 30 minutes of intake, allow them to calm down before repeating the dose. Never double the dose if it's nearing the time for the next scheduled dose.

Common side effects associated with Eradiclav DS Dry Syrup may include vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, and allergic reactions. These side effects are usually temporary and should subside on their own. However, if they persist, worsen, or begin to bother your child significantly, it is important to consult your child's doctor without delay.

Before starting treatment with Eradiclav DS Dry Syrup, ensure you share your child's complete medical history with the doctor. This includes any previous allergies, heart conditions, blood disorders, birth defects, airway obstructions, lung abnormalities, gastrointestinal issues, skin disorders, liver impairment, or kidney malfunction. This comprehensive information will enable the doctor to make necessary dose adjustments and formulate the most effective overall treatment plan for your child."
