ESLO MET TAB 5MG 10S

  • Use: Primarily used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and certain heart conditions. It helps in lowering blood pressure, reducing the risk of stroke, heart attacks, and heart failure.
  • Composition:
    • S (-) Amlodipine 2.5mg œ A calcium channel blocker that helps relax blood vessels, improving blood flow and lowering blood pressure.
    • Metoprolol Succinate 25mg œ A beta-blocker that helps slow the heart rate and reduce strain on the heart.
  • Dosage:
    • Typically one tablet daily, or as prescribed by a doctor.
    • Should be taken with or without food, at the same time every day.
  • Side Effects:
    • Dizziness, fatigue, slow heart rate, nausea, headache.
    • Rarely, it may cause low blood pressure or swelling in the legs.
  • Precautions:
    • Not recommended for people with severe heart block, asthma, or very low blood pressure.
    • Avoid abrupt discontinuation, as it may cause a rebound increase in blood pressure.
    • Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before use.


Directions of Use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Eslo-Met -5 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Side effects

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them
