EXEL GN CREAM is a combination of Clobetasol and Neomycin which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids and Antibiotics. It is used to manage resistant dermatoses (skin infections) with secondary fungal infections. Ex. psoriasis (except widespread plaque psoriasis) and recalcitrant dermatoses.

EXEL GN CREAM is not recommended for use in patients with rosacea, acne vulgaris, perioral dermatitis, pruritus without inflammation, perianal and genital pruritus, and perforated ear drum. Contact your doctor before applying.

EXEL GN CREAM should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease, psoriasis. Contact your doctor before applying.

EXEL GN CREAM is generally not recommended for use in pregnancy. Contact your doctor before applying. EXEL GN CREAM is generally not recommended for use in breastfeeding women as it is not known whether it may pass through the breast milk. Contact your doctor before applying.

EXEL GN CREAM is not recommended for use in children under 2 years of age and should be used with caution in children above 2 years of age. Contact your doctor before applying.

EXEL GN CREAM should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years or above). Contact your doctor before applying.

The most common side effects of this medicine are pruritus, skin burning or skin pain. Contact your physician if any of the symptoms worsen.


Uses:

  1. resistant dermatoses (skin infections) with secondary fungal infection Ex. psoriasis (except widespread plaque psoriasis)
  2. recalcitrant dermatoses

Directions of Use

Apply EXEL GN CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Wash your hands with soap and water and apply a thin layer of the medicine to the affected area of the skin and rub it gently. Avoid contact with eyes.
