EXINIA 25MG contains Eplerenone, which belongs to the group of medicines called Selective Aldosterone blocking agents. It is used for the management of mild to moderate hypertension (condition in which the force of the blood against the artery walls is too high) and heart failure in adults. Heart failure is a chronic condition in which the heart doesn't pump blood properly to meet the body's demand.

EXINIA 25MG is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver disease, severe kidney disease, or high potassium levels in the blood etc. It should be used with caution in patients with other kidney or liver diseases etc. Consult your doctor before taking EXINIA 25MG. Before taking EXINIA 25MG inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant or breast-feeding women.

The most common side effects of taking EXINIA 25MG are nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, high potassium level, low blood pressure, fainting, dizziness, headache etc. Consult your doctor if any of the symptom worsens.
