FLURISONE 0.1% contains Fluorometholone which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids. It is used to manage ocular conditions such as inflammation of the eye due to injury, swelling, itching, redness, irritation, ocular trauma, conjunctivitis, and post-surgery.

Before using FLURISONE 0.1% inform your doctor if you have blurred vision or other visual disturbances, eye infection, have or have been previously manageed for herpes simplex, wear soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses. If you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant or planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before using FLURISONE 0.1% and it is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women as safety is not established. Consult your doctor before using FLURISONE 0.1%.

FLURISONE 0.1% is not recommended for use in children (under 2 years of age) due to lack of safety and effectiveness. It should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years and above). Consult your doctor before using FLURISONE 0.1%. The most common side effects of using FLURISONE 0.1% are increased pressure inside the eye, eye pain, eye irritation, an excess of tears, eye infection, itching or redness of the eye. Consult your physician if any of the symptom worsens.
