Methylcobalamin is essential during pregnancy for the baby's developing brain and spinal cord. It also helps in formation of healthy red blood cells and DNA.

Folic acid supplementation has been known to reduce the risk of neural tube defects (NTDs), preterm birth and congenital heart disease. Pyridoxal-5-phosphate helps to manage vitamin B6 deficiency and to manage nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.
