Active ingredient: Gentamicin 0.3% w/v

What it is:
An antibiotic eye and ear drop used to treat infections caused by bacteria.

Uses:
– Treats bacterial eye infections like conjunctivitis, keratitis, blepharitis
– Used for ear infections, specifically otitis externa
– Used to prevent infections after eye/ear injury or surgery

How to Use:
– Wash your hands before use
– For eye: instill 1–2 drops into the affected eye up to six times a day (or as directed)
– For severe eye infection: may be used every hour initially
– For ear: clean the area, then instill 2–3 drops into the ear 3–4 times a day, possibly at night
– Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye or ear

Common Side Effects:
– Mild irritation or burning
– Temporary blurred vision
– Rare allergic reactions like redness or itching

Precautions:
– Do not use if you have a known allergy to gentamicin or related antibiotics
– Do not use in the affected ear if the eardrum is perforated
– Prolonged use may lead to resistance or irritation
– Consult your doctor first if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
– Do not wear contact lenses while using eye drops
– Avoid driving or operating machinery right after use (vision may blur)

Storage:
– Store at room temperature, below 30?°C
– Keep away from direct sunlight
