Uses:

• Treats Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
• Helps control blood sugar levels.
• Reduces the risk of diabetes-related complications.

Composition:

• Glimepiride (1mg) œ A sulfonylurea that increases insulin secretion from the pancreas.
• Metformin (1000mg) œ A biguanide that reduces glucose production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity.

Dosage & Administration:

• As prescribed by the doctor, usually once or twice daily.
• Take with food to avoid stomach upset.
• Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew.

Side Effects:

• Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) œ dizziness, sweating, confusion.
• Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain.

Precautions:
