COMPOSITION
Each extended-release tablet contains:
Gliclazide 60 mg

THERAPEUTIC CATEGORY
Anti-diabetic medicine (Sulfonylurea – Extended Release)

INDICATIONS
Used for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in adults.
Helps control high blood sugar levels when diet and exercise alone are not sufficient.
May be used alone or in combination with other anti-diabetic medicines.

MECHANISM OF ACTION
Gliclazide stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin.
Helps lower blood glucose levels.
Extended-release formulation provides gradual and sustained blood sugar control throughout the day.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor.
Usually taken once daily with breakfast.
Swallow the tablet whole with water.

MISSED DOSE
Take the missed dose as soon as remembered.
