GLIZID MV TABLET is a combination of Gliclazide, Metformin, and Voglibose, which belongs to a group of medicines called Antidiabetic agents. It is used to manage type II diabetes in patients whose blood sugar level is not controlled by diet alone.
Type II diabetes, also known as non-insulin-dependent diabetes, is a disease condition that occurs when the body does not utilize insulin (a hormone that signals throughout the body to absorb glucose and regulate the blood sugar level), resulting in high blood sugar levels that are characterized by increased thirst, frequent urination, hunger, fatigue, and blurred vision.
Your doctor may advise you to take a blood and urine sugar level test before or along with the management.
Do not take GLIZID MV TABLET if you have severe liver, kidney, and heart problems. GLIZID MV TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breast-feeding women. Consult your doctor before taking it.
GLIZID MV TABLET is not recommended for use in children, and it should be used with caution in elderly patients.
The common side effects of taking GLIZID MV TABLET are headache, nausea, constipation, indigestion, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. Consult your doctor if the side effects do not improve.
