Grilinctus BM Tablet is a medication containing a combination of Bromhexine and Terbutaline. Bromhexine belongs to a group of medicines called mucolytics, which help thin and loosen mucus, while Terbutaline is a bronchodilator that helps relax the muscles in your airways. This unique combination makes Grilinctus BM Tablet effective for the symptomatic management of cough in various respiratory conditions. It is indicated for use in acute and chronic bronchitis, other bronchospastic disorders such as eosinophilia, and also for smoker's cough. By addressing both mucus build-up and airway constriction, this medicine helps to make breathing easier and provides relief from discomfort.
Before you begin taking Grilinctus BM Tablet, it is important to inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcer, diabetes, an overactive thyroid gland, heart disease, low potassium levels in your blood (hypokalaemia), fructose intolerance, or fits. Grilinctus BM Tablet should be used with caution during pregnancy, while breastfeeding, and in elderly patients. It is generally recommended for children above 2 years of age. Common side effects may include headache, nausea or vomiting, pain in the upper abdomen, diarrhoea, and palpitations. If any of these side effects worsen or persist for a long duration, please consult your doctor immediately.

Directions of Use

Side effects
Like all medicines, Grilinctus BM Tablet can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. If you experience any of the following, stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor immediately:
- Serious allergic reactions that may include swelling of the face or throat, wheezing, or sudden difficulties in breathing.
- Severe skin reactions such as blistering or peeling of your skin, especially around the mouth, throat, nose, eyes, and genitals.
- Uncontrollable shaking (tremors), nervousness, dizziness, drowsiness, or difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep.
- Weakness and excessive sweating.
- Rapid heartbeat (palpitations) or chest discomfort.
Common side effects that may occur include:
- Headache
- Nausea or vomiting
- Pain in the upper part of your abdomen
- Diarrhoea
