HYTRIN 1MG TABLET contains Terazosin which belongs to the group of medicines called Alpha-blockers. It is used in the management of high blood pressure and benign prostatic hyperplasia (a condition where prostate gland, by growing too big and obstructing, it can partially block the flow of urine from the bladder).
Before taking HYTRIN 1MG TABLET consult with your doctor if you have heart problems or are planning to have a cataract removal surgery, or any kidney or liver impairment.
HYTRIN 1MG TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Consult with your doctor before taking the medicine.
HYTRIN 1MG TABLET is not recommended in children and adolescents. HYTRIN 1MG TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients over 65 years of age. Consult with your doctor before taking HYTRIN 1MG TABLET.
The most common side effects of HYTRIN 1MG TABLET are back pain, nausea and vomiting. Consult with your doctor if the side effects gets worse.

Directions of Use
Take HYTRIN 1MG TABLET as advised by your doctor. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending on your age, body weight and disease condition.
