IROVEL 300MG TABLET contains Irbesartan which belongs to the group of medicines called Angiotensin-II receptor antagonists. It is used to manage high blood pressure (essential hypertension) and protects the kidney in patients with high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, and laboratory evidence of impaired kidney function.

Blood pressure is the pressure of blood pushing against the walls of your arteries. Arteries carry blood from your heart to other parts of your body. Hypertension (high blood pressure) is when the pressure in your blood vessels is too high. IROVEL 300MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with diabetes or impaired kidney function. IROVEL 300MG TABLET is generally not recommended for use among pregnant and breastfeeding women.

IROVEL 300MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (under 18 years of age). IROVEL 300MG TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged above 75 years). Consult your doctor before taking. The most common side effects of taking IROVEL 300MG TABLET are dizziness, vomiting and feeling tired (fatigue). Contact your doctor if any of the above side effects worsen or persists for a longer duration.
