Chondroitin is one of the building blocks of cartilage that slows down the cartilage breakdown occurring in osteoarthritis. Vitamin D, zinc and manganese help in maintaining normal bone health.

Vitamin C contributes to normal formation of collagen to ensure proper functioning of the cartilage. Copper helps in maintenance of normal connective tissues and thus can be beneficial to cartilage (as cartilage is made up of connective tissues).
