KETASMA TABLET contains Ketotifen which belongs to the group of medicines called Antihistamines. It is used in prophylactic management of bronchial asthma and allergic conditions such as rhinitis (inflammation of the inside of the nose caused by an allergen like pollen, dust).

Bronchial asthma is a condition in which the airways narrow and swell, producing extra mucus. This can cause difficulty in breathing, trigger cough, wheezing and shortness of breath. Avoid consumption of alcohol during management with KETASMA TABLET. It is not recommended for use in patients having epilepsy.

Before taking KETASMA TABLET, inform your doctor if you are intolerant to certain sugars, have a history of epilepsy or diabetes. It is generally not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. The most common side effects are agitation, irritability, inability to sleep and nervousness.
