KETOSTAR CREAM is used to manage fungal skin infections. It can be applied on your hands, feet, genital area, trunk, scalp, face and chest.
It contains an antifungal agent called Ketoconazole which works by stopping the growth of fungi. Use KETOSTAR CREAM as advised by your physician. Apply the required amount of the medicine to the affected skin areas.
Before applying KETOSTAR CREAM, inform your doctor if you are using a cream, ointment or lotion that contains a steroid.
KETOSTAR CREAM can be used if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, however, consult your doctor for advice. KETOSTAR CREAM is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (under 18 years of age).
The most common side effects of applying KETOSTAR CREAM are burning sensation, skin redness, or itching. If any of the symptoms worsen, contact your doctor.

Directions of Use
Apply KETOSTAR CREAM as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Wash the infected area and dry it well. Apply it to the affected and immediate surrounding area with clean fingers. Unless the affected skin is on your hands, wash your hands with soap and water after using KETOSTAR CREAM in order to stop you from spreading the infection to other parts of your body or to other people.
Keep using KETOSTAR CREAM until a few days after all symptoms have completely disappeared. This is to manage your symptoms from recurring.
Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Usually, you will see improvement after 4 weeks but if you don't, talk to your doctor.
