Lacoset 50mg Tablet contains Lacosamide 50mg, an antiepileptic medicine used in the adjunctive management of partial onset seizures in adults (patients above 17 years of age). It helps control certain types of fits (seizures).

Uses:

  1. Lacoset 50mg Tablet is primarily used in adults (patients above 17 years of age) as an add-on therapy for the management of partial onset seizures (also known as focal seizures) in epilepsy.

Directions of Use

Always take Lacoset 50mg Tablet exactly as directed by your physician. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, with or without food. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet. Side effects

Stop taking Lacoset 50mg Tablet and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following serious side effects:

  • New type of seizure or worsening of existing seizures.
  • Symptoms of an abnormal heartbeat, such as a slow, rapid, or irregular heartbeat (palpitations), shortness of breath, feeling lightheaded, or fainting.
  • Signs of an allergic reaction like rash, itching, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, or difficulty breathing.
