Overview:
Lanzol 30mg Tablet contains Lansoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to treat various acid-related stomach and esophagus disorders. It works by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach, helping in the healing of ulcers and preventing acid reflux symptoms.
Uses of Lanzol 30mg Tablet:
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) Treats acid reflux and heartburn.
- Peptic Ulcers Helps heal stomach and duodenal ulcers.
- Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome Manages excessive acid production.
- Erosive Esophagitis Treats inflammation caused by stomach acid damage.
- H. pylori Infection Used in combination with antibiotics to eradicate H. pylori bacteria.
Dosage & Administration:
- Typical Adult Dosage: One tablet (30mg) once daily before meals.
- For H. pylori treatment: Used in combination therapy with antibiotics for 7-14 days.
- Duration of Treatment: Usually 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the condition.
Instructions for Use:
- Swallow the tablet whole with water.
- Take it on an empty stomach, preferably in the morning.
- Do not crush or chew the tablet.
